You've probably read the testimonials on our website and on our Facebook page from parents who are thrilled to see an almost instant improvement in their children after starting Gemiini. While that certainly does happen, and quite often, it's also common for a child to take longer and appear to be making no progress at all.

Whether a child has a language delay or not, every person begins with pre-verbal skills and expands from simple language to more abstract and complex understanding and expression over time.

So much so that some children can even become “indistinguishable from typical peers.” The University of Connecticut published a study in 2010 that showed that up to 20 percent of students with diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder could achieve a clinical recovery by age 7 with intensive, early intervention. This backed up an earlier, 3 year study at UCLA, which found similar results.

Like many of you, we don't believe Autism Awareness should be limited to a single month out of the year, but we do think it's important to take the opportunity to inspire people to educate themselves about what ASD is and how it can be treated.
