Just wanted to share a story. My son with Down syndrome (4) has been trying to jump for a long time. We have tried everything! We have tried the trampoline, pool, peer modeling... We have been watching the 6.0 video this week. Yesterday, while outside, we were practicing following the directions like stop, run, sit down... I said jump. He jumped! I clapped and was very excited! He started clapping and he said, "I ump mama!" Whoopie!!!!!!! I at that point started crying!!!!! My two year old said "mommy he talking!!!!"

We love Gemiini! We started this when Liam was 4. We did it for a year and a bit for 10 minutes 2x a day as suggested and Liam started to say some single words if asked to say them.
Amazingly, he started to understand more and would look at us when we called him. He had shown no signs of this from around the age of 2 1/2 when he stopped responding to us it was at that time he also lost all 15 words that he could say.
We stopped Gemiini for a year as we moved houses and just didn’t continue it. I wish I had, but I’m just glad we started again a year ago!
We do the program everyday we sometimes skip Sunday and he absolutely loves it, it’s a really lovely time of day. We sit snuggled on the sofa for about an hour watching the videos and repeating the words sentences, he also works on his articulation videos. He’s had Glue ear for we think about two years (undetected) He’s doing really well since his grommets have been in and trying hard to get his sounds right.
Liam now can follow instructions, answer your questions with yes thank you or no, or in full sentences what he wants. He can ask for things in full sentences too!!!!!! He can say his name, age, eye colour, how many things there are, count to 100 with prompting to continue, read basic books! Name all his toys when asked, animals and their sounds. In fact he can name all objects he knows. It’s the Best thing we ever did for Liam. And as it has programs to follow for all abilities you always have next steps. There are hours and hours and thousands of videos to choose from. There is also the set programs to follow. There are staff to call for free if you have any questions!
If you know someone who’s child has Autism, Down syndrome, speech delay or articulation difficulties please show them this. There is a free trial and a scholarship so you don’t have to pay the full amount. We pay £45 a month on the scholarship and it’s worth every single penny! You can start this at any age and you can choose the level by answering simple questions about the student.
Liam has achieved so much in the last year before that I was lost and found it hard to know what to do next as he just didn’t retain or respond to anything I tried.
Even with all the tricks up my sleeve and skills from my background teaching Special needs children, children with behavioural difficulties and children who were academically very far behind and vulnerable. I admit I had nothing that stuck or worked for him.
He has severe Apraxia (dyspraxia of speech) and he’s had glue ear for around 2 years and Autism with traits of ADHD and I suspect dyslexia.
Please don’t give up on your child’s speech, don’t say they can’t speak, say they haven’t spoken yet and give Gemiini a try.

I would like to thank you extensively for all the videos you have sent to my son. By the grace of God he has fully grasped every session assigned to him. He has excellently learned all of the parts of the body. He always comes up to me and points at the body parts he learned. He's learned all of the colors and shapes, as well as all of the animals assigned to him.

I have been using it for my 3 year old son for the past 5 weeks. He was pretty much non-verbal and has responded extremely well to the program. He is speaking full sentences, pointing to animals and different objects we see out and about and is trying super hard to communicate with us verbally all the time.

So, there's this new program I was told about (last year by Aunt) that I finally decided to give a try. We literally joined it on my daughter's birthday (9-8-17 at 2:30am).
To be fair, I looked into it a couple times after my Aunt told me about it, but the pricing is pretty outrageous ($100/month), so I quit looking into it. Then, suddenly it popped up as a sponsored post on Facebook, talking about scholarships. I haven't thought much about it nor looked it up in probably a year now. I looked into it and investigated it (including YouTube videos of real users) and that seemed to draw my non-verbal son and my verbal daughter both in, so I signed up for the free trial figuring it would be really awesome or I'd cancel if it wasn't. Meanwhile, I applied for the scholarship, thinking it made it free, but it actually makes it $30/month, for all day, all the time access (except when it crashes, but I take that to mean we need a break when it happens).
So really, really wordy to get to this point: apparently the GemIIni program is extremely, extremely effective for my son (and my daughter loves it too). We watched 4-4 1/2 hours tonight, with a short break when they both walked away from it for about 30 minutes.
It has premade videos and allows you to create your own videos put together from theirs (and to upload short videos of your own, actually, but those require them agreeing before you can use them).
So, while this may just be how it's going for us, it definitely seems worth it if you have a kid with speech issues. We've not used it two nights since joining because the kids passed out, but have otherwise used it every single day. And my son is starting to talk more. He said "mine" tonight at nuggets so my daughter wouldn't take his.

How it began....
One night feeling desperate and defeated I looked up at the stars and asked my Dad to please help me get through to my 2 beautiful babies who can’t speak to me. Both with autism and 1 with severe apraxia. They were 3 at the time. As I was scrolling through Facebook I suddenly stopped when I saw the word Gemiini knowing it’s twins and knowing my father was a Gemiini. I saw Laura Kasbar speaking of her twins and how it changed her life and I knew this was my sign from my Dad above to try it. Well the first time I put it on Mia my daughter started saying “Bear” then she went onto “Cassowary” and after that she repeated everything including the whole skit from “What does a bear say” etc... my son Leonardo took longer but he is 5 now and asks us “What does a lion say” etc...! We haven’t stopped exploring with Gemiini and we won’t stop. It’s been a daily tool in our lives and we are so grateful for it. The first picture is the twins watching Gemiini together.
