VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN 6) — A very basic video is making a huge impact on some children with autism — and it was created by a mom right here in the Northwest. A Vancouver family told KOIN 6 News how it has helped their son make big strides.

Laura Kasbar, a mother of 7, created a specialized filming technique that is showing remarkable results in teaching language and reading to special needs.

To help her twins, Kasbar created a learning platform called Gemiini, which offers educational videos for people on the autism spectrum and others with brain injuries, Down syndrome and other types of learning disabilities.. click here to link to news article.
